Restorative Yoga

What is Restorative Yoga?  Simply stated, it is the centering of your breath and body, aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time.

Restorative yoga is a fantastic way to relax and de-stress after a long, hard day. It is also a great way to release any tension that you may be holding onto from previous times.  Restorative yoga has a meditative style atmosphere with dim lighting and soft music.  Bolsters, blankets and blocks are used to prop you up in passive poses so your body can experience the benefit of a pose without having to exert any effort.

This is a great class to attend after a long week, giving you an opportunity to rejuvenate yourself.
